AAUW presents theft awareness program

FALLBROOK - The Fallbrook Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will present a program at its general meeting Tuesday, Oct. 11, 4 p.m., on the important topic of Identity Theft and Internet Safety. The speaker for this event will be Gabby Beltran of the Identity Theft Resource Center.

Identity theft occurs when someone uses one’s personal identifying information such as their name, Social Security number or credit card number without permission to commit fraud or other crimes.
