Two very special men; one amazing town

Monday, September 12 was just like any other day until 4:33 pm. At that moment a call went out to 911 that my husband, George, had collapsed from a heart attack while playing softball with the Fallbrook Senior Softball League at Ingold Sports Park.

The quick action of fellow teammate Bob Gillis and opposing team player Marc Rudich without a doubt saved his life. They performed CPR for 13 minutes and used the AED device to literally bring him back to life. They were able to stabilize him until paramedics arrived and transported him to Fallbrook Hospital.
