Movie night to raise money for students' trip

FALLBROOK – Potter’s non-profit East Coast Trip invites families to come out and spend an evening under the stars to watch “Rio” on a giant movie screen, at the Maie Ellis Education Center, 400 W. Elder St., on Oct. 15, at 7 p.m.

The Potter Jr. High eighth grade students are raising funds for their East Coast trip in June when they will be traveling to Washington D.C. and New York to learn about the nation’s history first hand and not just from their textbooks.

The cost of the movie is a $1 donation per person and there will be snacks for sale. Movie-goers should bring blankets or low beach chairs to enjoy the outdoor movie with family and friends.
