Double tribute evening to Bruce Beers and the Beatles

It was a good decision to have Abbey Road, the Beatles tribute band, perform its upbeat, energized show at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater on Saturday evening, Oct. 1 after the intriguing, live performance art of Gregory Adamson.

Adamson, a renowned Southern California artist, volunteered to donate his time that evening to create, on the spot, a huge masterpiece of art that could be auctioned off to help raise funds for a bronze bust to be commissioned in memory of theater manager Bruce Beers of Fallbrook, who passed away unexpectedly Sept. 13.
