VALLEY CENTER – A free workshop will be provided in Spanish on how individuals can manage landscape and home garden pests in the safest manner to address pest problems. The seminar will be presented Saturday, October 22 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. by the University of California and the Healthy Garden – Healthy Home program at the Valley Center Library, 29200 Cole Grade Road in Valley Center.
The 90-minute workshop will give participants information on how to properly care for citrus trees, how to identify good and bad bugs on plants, why maintaining healthy plants can help reduce pests and pesticide use, and much, much more. A free pest management gift will be given to the first 50 participants.

El taller de 90 minutos brindará a los participantes información acerca de como cuidar de los árboles de cítricos, identificar bichos buenos y malos en sus plantas, por qué el mantener las plantas saludables ayuda a reducir el número de plagas y el uso de plaguicidas y mucho, mucho más.
Los primeros 50 participantes del taller recibirán un regalo para el manejo de plagas.
