Saving animals is important

I want to thank Major Market for allowing me to put my table in front of their store and help animals every month. To answer a question from another local chain store, I believe it is important for me to be there two days a month as I save hundreds and hundreds of lives, dogs and cats that so many people consider to be worthless and dispose of in the worst ways.

I save these lives through spay and neuter programs. I have sent 12 or more persons to the S.N.A.P. organization on average each month. I help the chronically ill and disabled get medical care for their beloved pets through the Pets Are Wonderful Support Program. They can get help with pet food and an emergency ride to the vets.

Because I am there, I often save the lives of animals that are dropped off in people’s driveways or thrown onto the roadways. I get them placed at the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary or with other groups.

The money I collect from the public at my table does not begin to cover these expenses but it does help. When you see me sitting at the markets you know every time I am there it is likely an animal’s life has been saved.

Thank you to all who recognize this and to those who do not understand nor care, I can only hope that someday you will come to see the depth of the importance of my “being there.”
