“They’re doing great,” said Fallbrook coach Kirstin Mueller. “The only two losses were in strokes, so it’s not really anything to be ashamed of.”
The Warriors compiled a 7-1 record before their Sept. 28 loss in strokes at Scripps Ranch. Three of those wins were in the two-weekend Serra Tournament, while the Warriors’ 1-0 road win at Serra to open the season Sept. 8 was against the Serra High School team which has won the past two CIF Division II championships.
