Jane Kolb

On Tuesday night, Oct. 11, Jane Kolb went home to be with the Lord. After a hip fractured in a fall, her 95-year-old body just could not recover, but she was ready to see the Lord face to face. She also will be joining her husband, Robert, who preceded her there 13 years ago as well as her daughter, Trish, who died in 1978.

Jane was born in Hastings, Penn. on May 22, 1916 and saw quite a lot of history from one century to the next. The family moved from Nevada to Fallbrook in 1958 and later they moved to San Marcos and then Escondido.

Some of you knew her as Mrs. Kolb in Fallbrook as a teacher...
