Leslie Powell Hill

Leslie Powell Hill, 85, passed away on Oct. 15, 2011, in Fallbrook. Les retired a Lieutenant from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department after 25 years of service. Prior to his time in the Sheriff’s Department, he served his country in the Navy during World War II, and in the Air Force during the time of the Korean War. He greatly enjoyed his activities with the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club, the Packards International Motor Car Club and the Retired Deputy Sheriff’s Association. He was an avid fisherman and a world traveler.

Les was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Alice Hill. He is surviv...
