Palomar Apple Festival Oct. 23

PALOMAR MTN. - Palomar Mountain State Park will hold an Apple Festival on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Palomar Mountain State Park is made up of pioneer homesteads that included magnificent apple orchards, which are still producing delicious apples to this day. The event celebrates the park’s apple heritage with apple dishes, cider, living history demonstrations such as volunteers making apple dolls, corn husk dolls and apple sachets, and arts and crafts for kids.
