Essay contest at library offers cash prizes

FALLBROOK - Aspiring authors of all ages have a chance to win a cash prize by entering the annual essay contest sponsored by The Library Friends of San Diego County, which provides monetary prizes to the top three essays written in each age group: children, teens, and adults. This year’s essay question is, “How does the library benefit you?” with essays being accepted at all county library locations, including the Fallbrook Library, until October 29.

The essays must be five hundred words or less, typed, preferably double-spaced and printed single-sided.
