Oceanside makes it three straight in Senior Challenge Cribbage

FALLBROOK – The Oceanside team easily won the Aug. 25 cribbage match with 85 wins to Fallbrook’s 62. Bill McGinness won his third straight match, his second straight month winning all seven games. The next four places were all taken by Oceanside players, Fred Kreutzkamp, Jean Cunningham, Dan Hughes and Carol Riccitelli.

The Sept. 22 match was the 10th anniversary of the Senior Challenge. Oceanside won this one with 75 wins to 72 wins for Fallbrook. Carl Troupe of Oceanside took first with six wins and skunk. In second was Fallbrook’s Ethel Williams with six wins but no skunks. Nicki Newv...
