Planning Commission recommends Meadowood for I-15 corridor

The County’s Planning Commission recommended the approval of Pardee Homes’ proposed Meadowood development.

The 5-1 vote Oct. 7, with Adam Day in opposition and Peder Norby not present when the vote was taken approximately 4 1/2 hours after the hearing began, recommends approval of a vesting tentative map, specific plan, general plan amendment, rezone, major use permit, and three site plans. The county’s Department of Planning and Land Use expects to docket the project for a January hearing at the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
