Phillip Edward Winter, 82, died in his Mount Vernon, Wash. home on Tuesday, Oct. 18. He passed peacefully as he slept.
Phil and his twin (and best friend), Paul, were born to Ray and Mary Winter in Illinois on July 3, 1929 but soon moved to California when the Great Depression hit. They had two older brothers, Robert and Ray.
