The student council of Zion Lutheran School led the Oct. 11 San Diego County Board of Supervisors meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Student council president Trevor Yerkes, vice president Keanna Byrnes, secretary Nina Boyle, treasurer Travis Tysor, and senator Haley Hanford recited the Pledge of Allegiance before the Board of Supervisors and others assembled in the chamber. They were joined in the County Administration Center by student council advisor LaDorna Bunt and math teacher Kim Yerkes.
