Riverside County Law Enforcement Agencies Gear up for Halloween Crackdown

RIVERSIDE - Motorists who mix alcohol or drugs with Halloween festivities could hurt themselves or somebody else, so stay safe and drive sober -- or risk going to jail, authorities cautioned today.

The Riverside County Avoid the 30 task force -- named for the number of local police agencies involved -- is planning saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints starting tomorrow at 6 p.m. and continuing through 3 a.m. Tuesday.
