Warriors reach quarterfinals of novice volleyball tournament

Fallbrook High School has two junior varsity girls’ volleyball teams rather than a junior varsity team and a novice team, and the junior varsity “B” team played in an Oct. 15 novice tournament at the Epic Volleyball Center in Poway and reached the quarterfinals.

The Warriors also scored more points in a game against tournament champion La Costa Canyon than any other team did in the tournament.

“We played really well. We lost to the two teams who made it to the finals in the gold division,” said Fallbrook coach Roxanne Barnes-Smith.
