Perris man fatally shot; killer at large

RIVERSIDE - A 40-year-old Perris man was shot to death today in Riverside, and his killer was at large.

The shooting occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. in the 8200 block of Janis Street, a residential neighborhood near Adams Street and Magnolia Avenue.

The man, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at 12:37 a.m., according to the coroner's office.
