Marine loses control of vehicle, crashes into tree on Live Oak Park Road

A 27-year-old Marine, on his way from his home in Murrieta to work at Camp Pendleton at about 6:40 a.m. this morning lost control of his vehicle on Live Oak Park Road near Yucca and crashed into a tree.

The driver, Ryan Potter, was traveling on Live Oak Park Road as an alternate to East Mission, at approximately 50 miles per hour when he lost control of his Volkswagen sedan on a curve.
