New children's book features the work of Fallbrookians

FALLBROOK – A new children’s book, “Can Daddy Stay Home and Play?” featuring writing and illustrations by two Fallbrookians is now available.

The author, Gina Floyd, who grew up in Fallbrook, used her everyday experiences as of a mother of three very active little boys to formulate the story.

Fallbrook resident Judy Scott illustrated the book with colorful pictures, which highlights family values and is designed for parents and children to interact with. It explores questions from children such as “Why does Daddy have to be gone so much at work?” during these difficult financial times.
