FALLBROOK – With the rainy season here, the County Department of Public Works (DPW) is again giving free sandbags to people in unincorporated communities like Fallbrook and Bonsall to protect their homes, neighborhoods and streets from damaging mud and debris flows, flooding and erosion.
DPW is providing free bags and the sand to fill them locally at North County Fire Protection District, Station 4, 4375 Pala Mesa Drive, in Fallbrook.
“We encourage everyone to protect their property, public infrastructure and the environment from storm water damage by taking advantage of this free program,” said County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Horn
