NCFPD chief speaks out on federal aid uses

Bill Metcalf, the chief of the North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) and second vice president of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) was in Washington DC in October to share his opinion on how the federal government can streamline emergency management across the country.

On Oct. 13, Metcalf stood before the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure as part of their ongoing series of hearings on streamlining emergency management.
