SAN DIEGO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES - A Pacific storm system moving into the area this weekend may not shed as much rain on the area as first thought, National Weather Service experts have said.
Tracking of the storm has been unusually difficult for accurate prediction purposes, they said, because of the complex forces driving the storm. The storm will be drifting south through Friday and is now expected to turn east over the weekend, depending on how far south it tracks.
Friday's high is expected to be 73 degrees with 20 percent chain of rain in this area.
