Day one...today and tonight
low pressure tracking over the coastal waters will bring periods of rain and showers through this evening. Locally heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening over San Diego County as the storm center approaches and moves inland over the northern Baja peninsula.
Strong and gusty southeast winds and combined seas of 6 to 10 feet ahead of the storm will create hazardous small craft conditions this morning in the coastal waters. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible by afternoon through this evening.
A high surf advisory is in effect along the entire coast through 10 pm this evening for surf of at least 7 ft.
Days two through seven...Sunday through Friday
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
