Pacific storm to bring rain, gusty winds

SAN DIEGO - A winter Pacific storm was expected to move through San Diego County tonight and Sunday, bringing precipitation and gusty winds this weekend.

Isolated sprinkles and light winds were expected today, with cooler than average temperatures, as a trough of low pressure moved over the West Coast, the NWS reported.

The storm system from the Gulf of Alaska was expected to move inland across Southern California and Northern Baja Sunday and Monday morning, according to a NWS statement.
