Woman sustains minor injuries after running vehicle into tree

A woman who emergency workers estimated to be in her 50s sustained minor injuries after losing control of her vehicle Friday morning striking a tree.

The woman was traveling westbound on Reche Road at approximately 9:10 a.m. when for unknown reasons she veered off the north side of the roadway and struck an oak tree. After the woman’s vehicle struck the tree, the vehicle came to rest in the eastbound lane of the roadway.
