Madrigals to perform at Christmas brunch

FALLBROOK – All women in the Fallbrook area are invited to the Fallbrook Women’s Connection’s annual Christmas brunch to be held at the Grand Tradition, on Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The acclaimed Madrigal choir from Fallbrook High School will share the magic of the season, under the direction of Heather Smith.

The guest speaker for the event will be Judy Scharfenberg. The former librarian will give a dramatic reading and explain the “Heart of Christmas,” taken from Leo Tolstoy’s story, “Martin the Cobbler.”

Pianist Jean Dixon will play a melody of Christmas music.
