Sheriff's Dept. seeks additional burglary victims in Fallbrook, Escondido, Carlsbad, and greater Temecula area

Sgt. Joe Montion of the Fallbrook Sheriff's Substation said his agency is trying to determine if any other local residents have been victims of home burglaries involving the theft of appliances.

"Between Nov. 17 and 19, two separate vacant residences that were listed for sale were broken into in the 1600 block of Wilt Road," explained Montion. "The reported losses were "high end" stainless steel kitchen appliances, including Viking and Thermador ovens, trash compactors, microwaves, warmers, and dishwashers."

The total combined loss from both residences was over $34,000.
