County approves Hoxie Ranch Road wireless permit modification

The county’s Zoning Administrator approved a modification to the Minor Use Permit for a wireless communications facility in Bonsall.

Zoning Administrator Joe Farace approved the modification Nov. 15, allowing Verizon Wireless to make the changes to the facility in the 29500 block of Hoxie Ranch Road.

Three omnidirectional whip antennas currently on the roof of the single-family residence owned by Thomas and Dana Montgomery will be removed while a false chimney will house a sector of three antennas. “What they’re doing is removing three visible omni whip antennas,” Farace said.
