County library eBooks now available for Kindle

FALLBROOK – San Diego County Library is excited to announce that its eBook collection is now compatible with the popular Amazon® Kindle eBook reader.

Customers can now download popular and classic eBooks to a Kindle device or any mobile device running the free Kindle app, such as iPhone®, iPad®, and Android'. To get started, visit http://www.sdcl.org and click on the “Downloads” link.

San Diego County Library also offers eBooks and audiobooks for use on a PC or Mac computer and popular mobile devices such as a Smartphone, MP3 player, and eBook reader like the Barnes & Noble® Nook' and Sony® Reader.

Kindle users can browse the San Diego County Library’s digital book collection of bestselling and classic eBooks from a PC or Mac computer, check out titles using a library card, and select “Get for Kindle” to deliver eBooks to their Kindle device or any device running the free Kindle app.

“The County Library now offering eBooks for Kindle is one more way the County of San Diego is working to use technology to meet the needs of our community, and to provide better services at lower cost,” said Fourth District Supervisor Ron Roberts. “Our library system provides access to virtually unlimited information and entertainment resources.”
