28-year-old Vincent J. Bell killed in combat

SAN DIEGO - The Pentagon released the name today of a 28-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine killed in combat in Afghanistan.

Staff Sgt. Vincent J. Bell of Detroit died in Helmand Province on Wednesday, according to the Department of Defense.

Bell was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force....
