Boys & Girls Club campaign reaches 50 percent mark

FALLBROOK - The Boys & Girls Clubs of North County “Step Up to the Plate/ It Just Takes One” campaign” is at the 50 percent mark of its campaign goal. To date, the club has raised $46,000 of their $92,000 goal.

According to Merrilee Neal, campaign commissioner, “After school hours are a critical time for many young people in our community. Many have little or no adult supervision after school. Children face threats of drugs, alcohol, increased drop-out rates and teen pregnancy.
