Supervisors approve Mt. Olympus acquisition

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved the purchase of 86.43 acres which will be added to the county’s Mount Olympus Preserve.

A 5-0 vote Nov. 9 authorized the purchase from Richard L. Oswald for the appraised value of $525,000 and also approved an easement purchase agreement between the county and the Department of the Navy, which will fund half of the purchase price.
