Library needs stairway to lower parking lot

I want to applaud Marianne Doty’s observations in last week’s Opinion page about our new library, especially the lack of stairs between the upper and lower parking lots. The upper lot generally has heavy traffic and parking spaces there are at a premium, so parking on the lower level is both convenient and necessary.
