Mr. Evans makes a cogent argument for global warming. The cause is less clear. We know there have been significant temperature changes in the past, all caused by variations in the heat source. So the cause today is speculative.

Then he loses credibility with the statement “Nothing is lost by eliminating fossil fuel pollution and severe consequences may occur if we do not act.” Our modern economy is heavily dependent on energy, primarily derived from fossil fuels and there is no viable substitute.

Alternative sources of energy can only make minor reductions. The “feel good” energy such as wind...
