SAN DIEGO – All ages are invited to check out five books, movies, or music CDs at San Diego County Library branches and be entered into a free prize drawing. The library’s Winter Reading Challenge launched on Dec. 5 and runs through Jan. 15, with raffles taking place each week at the library’s 33 branch locations and two bookmobiles.
Customers can earn a raffle ticket each time they check out five items, including renewals. Weekly drawing prizes include board games, thumb drives, ear buds, tickets to Local Events, including San Diego Symphony, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Poway Center for Performing Arts, and more.
Branches will host a drawing each week for each age group: children, teens, and adults. The Winter Reading Challenge is a great reason for families to visit the library and spend time reading together over the holidays.
