Marco LiMandri, a business district planner, recently spoke to Fallbrook’s Revitalization Council regarding development of Fallbrook’s business district. He described accomplishments in other districts and addressed signage, wider sidewalks, financing, and placing businesses on ground floors with residences above to enable a more walkable community.
He said that planners must ask, “Is the timing right? Are the politics right? Are property owners willing to create a sustainable financial plan?” He also addressed partnering with nonprofits.
