Ingeborg M. Schmidt

Ingeborg M. Schmidt, resident of Bonsall, Calif., passed away peacefully on Dec. 14, 2011. Born on Sept. 27, 1925, Inge was raised in Germany, lived in Canada and the US.

Inge proudly worked as Secretary of East Asian Studies at the University of Toronto, Canada and later as a legal administrator in Baltimore, Md.

Inge was the beloved wife of Hubert Schmidt for over 60 years. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by her devoted husband Hubert, beloved children Gary Schmidt and Peter Schmidt; daughter in-law Joann Schmidt; treasured grandchildren Louis, Wolf and Kurt; special cousin Ilse Adiliso, along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her.

Inge loved ancient history, listening to classical music and opera. She loved to travel and lived many places around the world. She spoke four languages. Inge loved being with her family, having fun with friends. Inge touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity.

Private services will be held in January.
