On Saturday, December 17, the Fallbrook boys’ varsity basketball team squared off against the Elsinore Tigers for the championship game in the North County Classic tournament hosted by the Warriors. After securing a spot in the finals with four victories versus San Dieguito Academy, Paloma Valley, Rancho Bernardo, and Chapparal, Fallbrook looked to run the table. However, Elsinore’s standout point guard, E.J. Twyman, simply took over the game, leading his team to a 72-50 victory.
