Warrior girls end cross-country season 4-1 in dual meets

The 2011 dual meet portion of Fallbrook High School’s girls cross-country season ended Nov. 4 with a competition at Guajome Park.

The race was actually a double dual meet, sometimes called a tri-meet, in which runners from all three schools compete in the same race but each team is scored against each other team. Vista and Fallbrook both entered the double dual meet with undefeated records and the Panthers took a 19-40 win over the Warriors, who earned a 15-44 victory against San Marcos. The results gave Fallbrook a 4-1 record for the dual meet portion of the season.
