Seniors going to Date Festival

FALLBROOK – A trip to the Date Festival and Windmill Farm in Palm Springs is being planned by the Fallbrook Senior Center for Feb. 21, 2012. The trip starts with a docent tour of the windmill farm followed by an included lunch buffet at the Rockgarden Café.

After lunch, the group will travel to America’s most exotic country fair at the Indio Date Festival which includes ostrich and camel racing, musical entertainment, 7000 exhibits and the Arabian Nights Musical Pageant.

The bus will leave the Senior Center at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 and return at approximately 8:30 p.m. Cost is $70 per person; registration deadline is Jan. 6, 2012. For more information and reservations, call the Senior Center at (760) 728-4498.
