FALLBROOK – Organizers have announced that Alicia Gwynn, wife of baseball great Tony Gwynn, will be catering Fallbrook NJB’s Fundraising Extravaganza on Jan 15 at Fallbrook High School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those who have attended a San Diego State baseball game know how fresh and delicious Gwynn’s homestyle southern cooking is.
Most people associate the Gwynn family with baseball, but they also love basketball and have been to the Fallbrook gym several times to watch their children play.
Fallbrook NJB is a local junior basketball league for girls and boys from kindergarten through eighth grade, with the goal of providing a safe, fun and competitive environment for children to learn the game of basketball.
The nonprofit NJB program has successfully fed players to the Fallbrook High School teams for years and works to keep fees low through fundraisers.
In addition to lunch options from Tony Gwynn’s Signature Gourmet Products, there will be a silent auction and fun raffle opportunities. Attendees will be able to watch great basketball action from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the event. For more information, visit fallbrooknjb.com.
