SAN JACINTO - Authorities today sought the gunman who robbed a San Jacinto market and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and briefly caused lockdowns at four schools, the sheriff's department said.
The robbery occurred at about 8 a.m. Friday at a small market in the 600 block of North Ramona Boulevard, said sheriff's Cpl. Courtney Donowho.
Authorities briefly placed several schools in the vicinity of the robbery on lockdown while they searched for the robber, who was seen jumping into a maroon-colored vehicle, Donowho said.
