Joseph HeeSoon Choi

Joseph HeeSoon Choi, MD, 80, of Fallbrook, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 2, 2012 at home with his family. He was born to the late BongOh and NeWe Kim Choi, Feb. 26, 1931 in Kwangju, South Korea. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Chonam in 1956. He was joyfully married to Martha Jane Choi (nee Howard) of Chattanooga, Tenn. for 51 years. He received his Masters in Medicine from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario in 1966.

The Choi’s moved from Canada to Westchester in 1969 where he was Chief Medical Examiner for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, he retired in 1989....
