Urgent weather message issued for strong and gusty wind

The National Weather Service has issued an urgent weather message for strong and gusty west to northwest winds in the mountains and deserts tomorrow.

A Pacific weather system will bring strong and gusty west to northwest winds to the mountains and deserts on Saturday and into Saturday evening. Strongest winds will mainly be along the mountain crests and the desert slopes.

In the San Diego County mountains and deserts there is a high wind warning in effect from 6 am to 10 pm Saturday.

The wind advisory is no longer in effect.
