Actor Gary Sinise to bring benefit concert to Temecula to benefit triple amputee

TEMECULA – Following a detailed presentation by actor Gary Sinise, the Temecula City Council unanimously agreed on Tuesday, Jan. 10 to give Sinise and his “Lt. Dan Band” permission to perform a concert at the Town Square City Plaza.

Money raised from ticket sales will go to build a “smart home” for 27-year-old Cpl. Juan Dominguez, who became a triple amputee as a result of injuries sustained in Afghanistan. He has chosen Temecula as the city where he wants to live with his 9-year-old daughter Victoria. His “smart home” is specially designed to be equipped with every state-of-the-art feature possible, to allow him to live independently.

The Lt. Dan Benefit Concert will take place on Thursday, March 1. Tickets are now on sale at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main Street, by going to the website http://www.TemeculaTheater.org or by calling (866) 653-8696. Ticket prices range from $35 and up to $150 for VIP seating. Monetary donations towards building the Juan Dominguez Home will also be accepted through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, (718) 987-1931. Donations made through the foundation are one hundred percent tax deductible.

“We can’t thank the wonderful members of the city council and Mayor Washington enough, for the privilege of holding a concert in their beautiful city to help a true American hero,” stated Sinise.
