Wind advisories issued today for wind 35 to 50 mph

RIVERSIDE - Wind advisories were scheduled today for the Coachella Valley, the Inland Empire and the Santa Ana and San Bernardino mountains.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the Coachella Valley until 10 p.m., citing the possibility of 25 to 35 mile per hour winds, with 50-mph gusts through and below passes and canyons, and east of the Interstate 10 corridor in the Coachella Valley.
