20-year-old man fatally shot in Anza identified

ANZA - A man found fatally shot on a road south of Hemet was identified today as a 20-year-old Anza man.

Trevor Michael Slusher was gunned down around 9 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Gassner Road and Roger Lane in the rural unincorporated community.

Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Herman Lopez said deputies were summoned to the location and found Slusher suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

No suspects have been identified.
