Soups and sweaters to be featured

RAINBOW – The theme for the next meeting of Daughters of Norway Hulda Garborg Lodge #49 is “Soups and Sweaters.” The program for the Feb.11 meeting will be on the Nordic diet; members will watch a “New Scandinavian Cooking” DVD by Andreas Viestad at 11 a.m.

Lodge sisters will wear Scandinavian sweaters and bring soups and salads, etc. for lunch including Swedish yellow split pea soup. The meeting will be held at the Rainbow Valley Grange hall, 2160 Rainbow Valley Blvd.
