TAC recommends Burma Road radar recertification

The County’s Traffic Advisory Committee recommended recertifying the 45 mph speed limit on Burma Road for radar enforcement.

The TAC’s unanimous recommendation Jan. 27 was its first for a Fallbrook road under a new state law which allows the local jurisdiction to round down the prevailing speed rather than round the 85th percentile speed to the closest five mph increment. The radar recertification is expected to be approved by the San Diego Board of Supervisors, who are scheduled to consider the recommendation on April 4.
